However, I hope I can make it up to you with a couple of song recs. The first is "Crashin'" by Jack's Mannequin, which is where the title of this post comes from (the opening line of the song is "I wanna hear some music, now that they're driving us all underground"). It's really quite an excellent song. Definitely worth a listen.
"And even if your voice comes back again, maybe there'll be no one listening. And even if you find the strength to stand, it doesn't mean you won't go missing, and the world will come crashin'..."The next song I want to recommend is called "Tapes" and it's by Alanis Morisette. AF gave me this one a while back and I absolutely adore it. Then last night I spread the songvirus to CH, who reportedly also thinks it is made of awesome. Absolutely go listen to it like right now.
"'I am someone easy to leave, even easier to forget,' a voice, if inaccurate. Again, 'I'm the one they all run from,' diatribes of clouded sun, someone help me find the pause button..."Finally, I must share a song that an old friend from summer camp posted on Facebook the other day. It's called "I Do Believe in Nargles" by The Whomping Willows. Absolute hilarity for the Potternerds out there. Check it out. XD
Gonna go now. I kind of forgot all about Screnzy yesterday until four minutes til midnight, which means I wrote absolutely nothing, so I should do something about that. And I wanna finish ORDER OF THE PHOENIX. Have a lovely weekend, everyone!
Love,
Bex
