Plot Holes of the Future

I dunno if I've talked about Script Frenzy ("Screnzy") or not around here, so, brief recap if you don't know: Script Frenzy takes place during the month of April. Lots and lots and lots of people across America (/the world) write or try to write a 100-page script in 30 days. Like NaNoWriMo, only it's screenplays or TV shows or stage plays instead of novels.


April begins in two weeks. Two weeks from tomorrow, technically. I am quite excited, because 1) I love writing screenplays and 2) I have an idea. It went something like this:

INT. INSIDE BECKY'S BRAIN - 11 PM


Most of BECKY'S brain cells are concentrated on brushing her teeth, keeping her shorter-and-curlier hair out of her face, and remaining awake. All of a sudden a MOVIE TRAILER appears.

BRAIN

Ooh, look, an idea!

In the movie trailer, CASS is standing against a wall.

CASS

I know what you did.

CUT TO:
Somebody kills somebody else. Becky watches in interest.


CUT TO:

RANDOM GIRL

My father works with the CIA...

CUT TO:
Cass is tied to a CHAIR as SKYLAR and JUSTIN smirk.


INT. BECKY'S BATHROOM - CONTINUOUS


Becky is holding her TOOTHBRUSH motionless in the air.

BECKY

Whoa...that was kinda awesome.

FADE OUT.


So, I now have a screenplay idea, and I am sooo ready for Screnzy to get here. I want to start writing! I spent most of today ironing out plot holes and diagramming the plot for this As-Yet-Untitled screenplay. Even though it hasn't been anywhere close to written yet...and won't be for another two weeks.

Bah humbug. Wanna write now! April, hurry up already, won't you?
